Imagine waking up on a Saturday morning and out of the blue turning to your partner and asking them what’s planned for the day. Then, with no real direction for the day, saying “why don’t we throw the house on the market?”
It doesn’t happen. And if it does, it’s too infrequent to matter.
Then why, as an industry, do we act like it happens? Arriving at the point of listing a home is actually a journey. Very few people, if any, wake up one morning and decide to put their home on the market later that day.
The opportunity for us lives in the journey.
